There is a legend about this tower and poor princess. One day king heard the prediction that the princess would be bitten to death by a snake on her 18th birthday, so the king trapped the princess in a tower to keep her safe but she was killed by a snake hidden in a fruit basket that king brought as a gift for her 18th birthday.
It is located at the southern entrance of the Bosphorus Straits.
