The Ancient City of Side

Located in southern Turkiye, the city was formed in the 7th century B.C. and was the main port of Pampilia in Roman times. Numerous relics are preserved, including the Temple of Apollo, the Gate of Vespasian, and Tice. Especially, the Temple of Apollo is famous for the anecdote that Cleopatra and Antony stopped by to watch the sunset.
